These terms are an agreement between you and Coconut Island Apps ("we"), the publisher of OreScout. The operator is identified in our Legal notice / Impressum. These terms apply where incorporated into your contract.
What OreScout is
OreScout is a companion utility for Minecraft. It computes ore candidates, maps, and structure locations from a world seed using world-generation mathematics, on your device. It does not modify your game, your worlds, or your Minecraft account.

License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, through the app store you obtained it from. The app includes open-source components; their licenses are listed in the in-app Licenses screen and are unaffected by these terms.
Intellectual property
The app, the OreScout name and logo, this site, and all original artwork, text, and code are the property of Coconut Island Apps, protected by copyright and trademark law. Apart from the license above, no rights are granted, and all rights are reserved. The app's open-source components remain under their own licenses, listed in the in-app Licenses screen.
Minecraft, its assets, and its trademarks belong to Mojang Synergies AB and Microsoft. OreScout contains no Minecraft assets: its artwork is original, and the game is named only to describe what the app is compatible with.
Accuracy
Results are estimates computed from world-generation math. Ore locations are candidates: terrain, caves, and other world features can remove or shift blocks, and game updates can change generation behavior between versions. We work hard on accuracy but do not guarantee that any specific block will be where the app predicts.
Purchases
Optional Premium access is offered as weekly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions and as a one-time lifetime purchase. An annual subscription may include a free trial when the store says you are eligible. The app store shows the price, billing period, and any trial terms before you confirm.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through your app store account. A trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Billing, cancellation timing, and refunds follow Google Play's or the Apple App Store's terms. Entitlements can be restored on a new device via the store account that made the purchase. Prices may vary by region and may change for future purchases or renewal periods as permitted by the store.
Withdrawal and refunds
Store refund procedures do not replace your mandatory consumer rights against the responsible contracting party. Consumers may have a statutory withdrawal right, generally 14 days where EU/EEA or UK withdrawal rules apply, depending on the contract and jurisdiction.
For paid digital content under German law, early expiry requires performance to have begun after your express consent to early performance and acknowledgment that you lose the right on commencement, together with the required contract confirmation. Confirming a purchase alone does not automatically waive that right. Other mandatory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
Ads
The free tier shows advertising. Ad personalization is governed by the consent choices described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not redistribute the app, distribute modified or re-signed copies, misrepresent modified copies as official, or use the app's name or assets to mislead others. Copies obtained outside official stores may be altered by third parties and may refuse to run.
Consumer rights
Your statutory rights concerning defective digital products, required updates and available remedies apply. The explanation of prediction limits above does not exclude those rights.
Liability
Our liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not impose a purchase-price cap or exclude statutory liability.
Ending use and availability
You can stop using the app at any time. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription; cancel it through your store account. The app is designed to keep its core features working offline. Any changes to paid access or discontinuation remain subject to our contractual obligations and applicable law, including required notice and consumer rights to remedies or termination.
Changes
We may publish revised terms for future contracts. Changes to an existing contract require your agreement or another valid legal basis. Publication or continued use alone does not mean acceptance. We provide notice and obtain agreement where required.
