These terms are an agreement between you and Coconut Island Apps ("we"), the publisher of OreScout. By installing or using OreScout you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What OreScout is
OreScout is a companion utility for Minecraft. It computes ore candidates, maps, and structure locations from a world seed using world-generation mathematics, on your device. It does not modify your game, your worlds, or your Minecraft account.

License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, through the app store you obtained it from. The app includes open-source components; their licenses are listed in the in-app Licenses screen and are unaffected by these terms.
Intellectual property
The app, the OreScout name and logo, this site, and all original artwork, text, and code are the property of Coconut Island Apps, protected by copyright and trademark law. Apart from the license above, no rights are granted, and all rights are reserved. The app's open-source components remain under their own licenses, listed in the in-app Licenses screen.
Minecraft, its assets, and its trademarks belong to Mojang Synergies AB and Microsoft. OreScout contains no Minecraft assets: its artwork is original, and the game is named only to describe what the app is compatible with.
Accuracy
Results are estimates computed from world-generation math. Ore locations are candidates: terrain, caves, and other world features can remove or shift blocks, and game updates can change generation behavior between versions. We work hard on accuracy but do not guarantee that any specific block will be where the app predicts.
Purchases
The optional unlock is a one-time in-app purchase billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their payment terms; refunds follow the store's policy. Entitlements can be restored on a new device via the store account that made the purchase. Prices may vary by region and may change for new purchases.
Ads
The free tier shows advertising. Ad personalization is governed by the consent choices described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not redistribute the app, distribute modified or re-signed copies, misrepresent modified copies as official, or use the app's name or assets to mislead others. Copies obtained outside official stores may be altered by third parties and may refuse to run.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost worlds, lost time, or lost in-game items.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that mandatory consumer law in your country of residence grants you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app or its online components (such as remote configuration) with reasonable notice where practicable; the app is designed to keep its core features working offline.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
